Swedish Massage has been around since the 1800's and is one of the most common massages performed in the United States.
Swedish Massage is the foundation for other types of massage such as Deep
Tissue Massage, Aroma therapy massage, Sports massage and some other western massage styles.
Swedish massage uses firm yet gentle pressure and is great for easing tension,
stress relief, pain relief, relaxing the body, promoting health and well-being, warming up muscle tissue for deeper work,

Common techniques used in Swedish massage are effleurage, petrissage, friction,
tapotement, vibration as well as passive and active movements, with a lot of long and soothing integrated massage strokes.
